Hey, I wanted to share with you guys the results from a recent event that took place here in Puerto Rico. It was a half mile event and they had a gun recording the speed once the half mile point was crossed.

As far as me I had my basic UMW Tune (no fancy mappings or fuels just, crappy 93ish).
Also had Kevin's DV's, UMW Clutch+LWFW and a 76mm catless europipe (got it from George, a member on 6speed).

Car ran great all day long. As the day progressed I started trying different shift points and techniques. I recorded at first 132mph all the way to registering a 139mph in my last attempt.

There where a TONS of other cars, TONS of TUNED P-TT's (and even more GTRs, couple alpha 9's and even an alpha 10!). If you want some more details on a particular car just ask and I'll chime in with what i know (or think I know)

I'd sure like to know how this guy only managed the speed he did in a 996TT in a half mile:

Nooo.

My car jas stock turbos. K16's.

This was a half mile top speed run. Basically to see how fast cars go after half a mile of acceleration.

To be clear. From Kevin I only have his basic ECU tune and his clutch+Lwfw kit. Car ran GREAT, over 16 runs. At least 5 runs back to back. Temps never went past the middle in the gauge. No hiccups.

For a point of reference. A Gallardo super leggera did 133, I managed 139.

Yep, and that was an E-Gear Lambo.

I am very happy to be performing on a 997TTS level (at least on the half mile speed wise. I am sure they are quicker to the mark)
