Hi guys

Anybody know what the symptoms of a worn flywheel are?

I have a clunking noise when going gently on and off the throttle (not too bad but I notice it) and also a rattle type sound coming from the flywheel area when I kill the engine.

I read a thread which said the rattle is normal when the engine is killed on a 996t, anybody confirm or deny ?

talking about the rattle when you turn off the engine? if so, thats
normal.

 

push in the clutch and the sound will go away when you shut off the engine
