Buying 2001 TT this weekend- Reply

I would certainly recommend getting the Porsche Certified warranty. It costs the dealer about $1900 from PCNA for two years and 100,000 miles. I would definetly negotiate for it. I bought my car about a month ago and it had 21 months left on the original factory warranty, I still negotiated for the extra two years, 100,000 miles. Dealer and myself split the cost. Another factor that I think is very important is that the certified warranty is transferable to somone else. So if for some unforseen circumstances you had to sell the car [within the two years] you could sell it with warranty, which makes your car more marketable. Good Luck and Congrats.
