Brake plusing everytime when about to stop, seems like ABS kick in...
DS2500 is good street pad, not sure if it is enough for track.
My personal experience: Was using RS29 front and rear for track and street, same issue as yours in the street. Change to street pads recently, issue disappeared. I am using GT3 6pot calipers in front.
Not sure if it is anything related to brake bias?

Yes. Since the car is not my daily drive, I tolerated that for almost 2yrs.
You have done pads, discs and brake fluid at the same time, I am not 100% sure that is the only cause, but it is easy for you to swap back to your old pads and try.
Nothing wrong with DS2500, I had used it on my previous car. The DS3000 bites disc very hard. You bought the pads from Sanwa in Kowloon City?

Besides, will you join the P club track day on next week? I will go ZIC on Jan.
Targa racing, is the first join using the TT, maybe will have another set of pads ready and swap there if needed.
Oh really, how many miles you have them on until now?
Pad sensors should be irrelevant because you can take those out completely.
As for the wheel sensor, it could very well be that while the pads etc. were being installed either the plug was pulled loose, or they got some junk into one of the sensors. When this happens the car doesn't know how fast the wheel is moving and can lock it up by default without much brake pressure.
Are you getting an ABS failure light at all? You might need to try a few hard stops in a safe place to get ABS to engage.
Who installed the pads?

How about you? Have you bedded the pads?

I came across this old thread when researching a similar "pulsating/ABS" type issue I am experiencing on my car after upgrading to Stoptech 380mm BBK with ceramic pads this past weekend. It is very annoying because it only happens at lower speeds as I'm about to come to a full stop under medium/slightly hard braking.
Did you ever determine what the problem was, i.e. speed sensor, bad bedding, pads, etc? Should I go get the discs re-surfaced (even though the disc are brand new) and try re-bedding them? Or, can I just try going through the bedding process again? The brake pedal feel of the bigger brakes is great, but then the ugly pulsating/ABS issue rears its head! Any suggestions on how to address the problem will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My car use to do the same thing at low speeds.. but that was forever.
i replaced the sensor, the wiring harness, and im installing a new abs/psm unit this week..... not fun. im keeping my fingers crossed.

could be bad ABS sensor, could be wrong tire sizing.... too tall of a rear. could be the ABS control unit acting up.....

Background info on my brake situation to see if this helps anyone with thoughts on what may be the problem and hopefully figuring out the solution:
Tire/Wheel size: 19 inch (front/rear) Techarts with Michelin PS2s tires in the following sizes as per research on this forum: 235/35/19 front; 315/25/19 rear.
Suspension: Pss9 on stock sway bars.
Prior brakes: Stock 4-piston brakes with ceramic pads and stock rotors. I had no pulsating/ABS problems with the Pss9 suspension, stock brakes and 19 inch wheels/tires combo prior to the brake upgrade
Replaced stock brakes last weekend with Stoptech BBK 6-piston brakes, 380 mm cross-drilled 2-piece rotors, and ceramic pads for street use. I am not using the brake pad wear sensors on the pads. I did not remove the wear sensor wires, so I zip-tied them to the speed sensor line.
Bedded the brakes as per Stoptech's instructions, twice on different days with very light use in between. Brakes were pulsating from the get-go as I was bedding them in the first time. So, I bedded them in again the following day, but a little gentler in order to avoid the pulsating during the second bedding process. No luck. Still pulsating/ABS problem.
Any ideas anyone? Should I not zip-tie the pad wear sensor to the speed sensor; try different pads; replace the speed sensors; etc.
I'm going to put my car up on my lift this weekend to make sure that I didn't disconnect and/or damage the speed sensors during the initial install.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks
