Stock Airbox - ReInstall

I've had to reinstall my stock airbox temporarily. I have become quite proficient at installing and removing the EVO airbox, but for the life of me I can’t seem to get the stocker back in. Any pointers?

Thanks, Mike

Mike,
Orient it vertically with the box pointing up and the intake pipe at the bottom. Lean the top towrds the front of the car and leverage it into place. Then, rotate it clockwise so the box sits flat in place.

Does that help?

I f##ked it up. My came with no holes drilled. I made a mess of it drilling holes for the venturi/MAF tube to bolt into the AIR BOX and EVO have been kind enough to replace it.

Ken, I remember getting it out in that order and tried getting it to go in that way. When I have it verticle, it seems like the MAF tube is too far from the rubber hose piece it needs to slide into. I'll give it another shot.

Thanks, Mike

Got it done. The secret is to go past verticle, to about 10:00, and then that stuborn box just slips right down ito the engine compartment. Thanks for the help Ken.

I was just gonna say that... you have to turn more than you think It's annoying but you have to twist it around to 9-10 as you said...
