Or is a secondary pump the way to go? In My Audi S4 i just replaced the factory unit with a Bosch 044. Is there something similar in the sense of a drop in kit?

 

Kevin at UMW has something. He replaces the tractor feed pumps as well as the main pump. No experience with it - I just know that he has it.

yes you are right and it is top notch, I am curious if a drop in pump would be more cost effective.

 

Our second pump kit with proper injectors does 800whp... I do not think your issue is the front pump... thus whatever your thinning off.. throwing in a 044 into the tank has been digested long time ago... now doing a dual one in tank is another story.. but then your into the $3500 range in parts and not counting labor...
