I've been on the hunt for a good 996tt for a few weeks now. I found one that *seems* like a nice deal up near San Fran. I live in SoCal so it's a 5 hour drive for me.

I was wondering if anyone in the bay area would be willing to drive by and check out the car for me real quick. Will send thank you card. You would be helping out a soon-to-be fellow 996tt owner.

 

What city is the car located - Bay Area is quite big.

 

Im not familiar with the area, wasnt sure how big it was. The car is in mill valley. Google maps shows its 15 miles from central SF.

Well, the listing says the car has a POG Stage 4 kit installes. But nobody at the dealership knows exactly whatit had done, or what the stage 4 includes. It also had a tubi exhaust but they removed it for smog.

Hey Tim, how long have you had this car? Did you happen to get her from a guy named Kelley?

 

It's a 2001 Silver 996tt with black wheels and 48k miles on the clock. Let me know when you get a chance to swing by. I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth, but for me the sooner the better.

 

MY996TT - I've had my car about 3 years; bought it in Scottsdale, AZ. Moved to Marin earlier this year, and have been running it here at Sears, Thunderhill, Seca. Looks identical to yours, except 6 speed, and black turbo hollow twist wheels.
