Everything sorted out ok? Just like Stephen said, there's no real way to "fool" those guys. The five-gauge/wire ones pre-cat are the waaaaay touchy.

LOL we'll set him up with straight pipes... Funny thing is with those and no cats, I never got a single CEL- just a bloody nasty headache

Not 100% true, I am running no cats with no check engine lights, and CEL is still active!! I have had it come on when I switch them by accident... It can be done through programing

See my post above... I **** you guys not. I ran these pipes for ages (no cats etc..) and leaded gas for about 3k miles and no isses with CELs. That was until the lead killed the 02s

Whats wierd is its the same thing with my race pipes... I put a stock ECU back in my car with the pipes once and go no CEL, but with a no cat exhaust you do get a CEL with stock computer... I bet if you threw on my exhaust you would get a CEL, don't know why, but all customers that don't have our programing that run our no cat exhaust get CELs, but not race pipe customers... O well, I never use my stock ECU anyway
