For the longest time I've had this plan to buy an '01 911tt that I could some day give to my son, who was born in '01. I've looked for a couple of years now for a very low mileage car and finally found/bought one. It has 20k miles on it and according to carfax the miles have been put on the car evenly (no long periods of sitting.)

So far, absolutely no complaints. (It does need an accumulator on the slave cylinder, but I'll get to that.)

If any of you ever get to Caffiene and Octane in Atlanta, let me know. I'd love to catch up and steal some of your knowledge..

I didn't plan to use it as my daily driver, but it seems I'm going somewhere in it almost every day. I'll post a few pics in a bit. For now, it looks stock.. Going to add some light window tint and a set of wheels.

Exhaust -- tune- cold air intake, diverters, headers... I am thinking that's 550HP... Wonder what a 6 spd with those mod's will run in the 1/4 mile??

Your son is a lucky kid. I was born in '85 so I think I'm glad my dad didn't hang on to any 'prizes' from that year!!
