Done with this phase -- Thanks! Wheel/Wing Pics

Just before the holidays, I decided to make some cosmetic changes to my 996TT. I had a set of Turbo Twists that I was looking to get painted, and I wanted to upgrade the look of the spoiler/wing.

Thanks to everyone who helped with input and ideas. I ended up painting the wheels and center caps to color match (special thanks goes to Sunir who posted key pictures of his seal grey GT2 with color matched Turbo Twists).

I also got a fixed wing kit and picked up a Misha GT2 Add On Wing that I just got painted (also color matched). Another special thanks goes to Eugene for his input/ideas on the wing and for lending me the critical wing tool.

I'll probably enjoy this for little bit -- then start looking at the PSS10s (probably start thinking about it tonight.....).

Actually, the wing is probably within an 1-2" of the full down position. With the extended fixed wing kit I picked up on e-bay, this wing could be raised quite high if desired. If you're really interested, I can set it up to the full up position and take a picture.

Ah you have the fixed kit. Got it. Don't go to any trouble, I was just curious!

looks good, I like the wheels a lot. Too bad my car is red, color match would turn it into a clownmobile! I am thinking fixed wing too seen some where you loose 12lbs. with the kit.

Very nicely put together Eugene; it's about time to think about the suspensions... starting now.

Did you have the wheels done at Wheel Techniques? They showed me this set when I was having my Fikse's cleaned up

Does the Misha wing work with the hydraulics fully retracted? Or do you need the fixed wing kit for the install?
