Is TT power steering system more assisted than GT2?

I apologize in advance if this is something I should have found on the forums - my attempt at searching didn't result in the info I was looking for.

I find the TT system to be way too assisted - especially at lower speeds. It really feels like the hydraulics are robbing me of steering feel. The car is on stock suspension. Stock wheels with Pirellis. Alignment was recently done and I had them dial in as much negative camber up front as is possible by tipping in the struts (but it apparently was not much at all). I plan on leaving the car stock in those regards.

So is the GT2 power steering system less boosted? If so, is there a DIY swap that is popular? Does the TT have some sort of speed sensitive assistance? Is this defeatable?

Thanks in advance.

From the info I found the rack is the same for the gt2/3 and turbo. The pumps are different part #'s but we know that internally the gt2/3 pump does not have the clutch assist circuit. I never had either pump apart so I can not say if the pump guts are bigger or smaller. The cup cars use a electric power steering pump, you may be able to adjust the feel with that setup. I dont really think this answers your question and thats why I did not post this last time but it is the best I can do.
