Suspension Set Up

I've been trying to learn more about my JIC suspension lately. I bought a great used set of ScarGO curved drop links from James and had them installed. They dramatically reduced the noise coming from the front. I still have some 'boinging', primarily when turning the wheel at slow speeds. I had the car up on the hoist at the dealer las weekend and the mechanic was showing me the cause. Where my JIC springs sit on the plate that holds them in place, there is no plastic/teflon disk in between the 2 parts. So when I turn the wheel, the springs load up a bit .... and then boing! He said some of the other manufacturers of coil-overs have a thin piece of plastic between the 2 parts which allows the springs to slide as opposed to loading and boinging. Has anyone noticed these plastic disks on the front coils overs?

Mikey,
I have the S-Car-Go drop links as well. They work well.

I have gone one step further with the alleviation of the spring spinning on the perch.............

Has anyone experienced/compared the JIC coil overs to others? How do they stack up in the group of available options?

I spoke with Ben @ JIC. He's sending (selling) me a couple of spaces to go between the springs and perches... similiar to those shown in Ken's second picture.

Ken - how much noise does your suspension make? I think I want to upgrade. If you could PM me with what you paid for parts, I would appreciate it.
