Since everyone here was so helpful with my recent mods -- new and fixed wing, painted wheels -- I thought I'd share some pictures of my first track event since the upgrades. It was a gorgeous (mid-70s) day at Laguna Seca. The mods all performed well -- I think the painted wheels helped me shave a few seconds off my best time .

Wing and wheels look great. Have you had your car lowered yet?

Stock height right now. I do plan to upgrade the suspension soon. I got a nice test drive in Eugene's 996TT to get a feel for the PSS10s. I understand that I can set the PSS10s near the top of its range and it would lower the car by about a 1" or so. I'm not sure I want to lower the car too much -- I have enough trouble with some driveways already .

Also -- especially for performance mods -- I prefer to make changes one (or a few) at a time and try it out for a little bit. For example, I might even do the PSS10s and sway bars separately. This gives me a little better feel for what each mod is doing for the car. Of course, I recognize that many of these mods work better as an integrated system. Truth be told -- I don't feel that I'm at the limit yet of having great fun with even a mostly stock setup. These cars are amazing!

I'm reminded of the old golf adage -- Q: Guy in the store asks "what can I buy to improve my golf score?" A: "Lessons"
