I am about to have my car repainted (Black) and wanted to hear experiences and opinions, pros and cons about different types of auto paint. I am thinking of going with Imron, because of it's toughness and durability. Any thoughts?

 

I'd highly recommend you speak to Barry at SPI

They only do primers and clears (unless things have changed recently)
But he'll tell you everything you need to know about paints and which brand to go for

Just so you know - SPI ptimers and clear coats are what's used on a lot of high-end hot rods

If you need primers or clears don't bother looking for anything else, just use SPI

As far as the base coat, just ask Barry, he's the man!

From my personal experience there's another option to change the car look! May be you should think of wrapping it? That leaves the space for further sail of the car.
