246.8 mph is the new record for the Texas Mile (for cars running on the Chase Field runway in Beeville). Congrats to owner Mark Heidaker and driver Sean Kennedy. I think that the car has a bit more in it. We will see.

Mission accomplished fellas. Good times and thanks to MBailey, TopGun, JoeTwinT, and Tommy Bahn. You guys helped tremendously. It was a thrill at 212.4 MPH. I was pleased with my 1/2 mile speed as well of 177.

Especially in a reara engine car were the front end is darting all over the place at that speed....actually, I don't know what 212 is like because 190 scared the **** out of me.
