How many changed their boost hoses because they actually had a problem with their OEM? If you had problem, what boost were you running? For someone running 1,1 bar, is it worth it?

Anyone had one blow up?

 

I run 1.65 with stock hoses,no problems yet.

 

only reason i did it was the engine was out anyways, figured may as well dress up the engine bay (and upgrading couldnt hurt), the term 'lipstick on a pig' was used a lot that day

 

haha, that kind of confirms what i thought and was told, i really wanted some but then i wanted them black so they don't show.

I read some stuff of people blowing them up and how they expand under boost and all but i can't remember seeing a picture of a blown stock hose. All people who thought they heard or things like that. This is why i am searching for real issues people have had.

There is no questionning that those who fit best are the stock ones so can't really see spending 500$ if it is not really a known issue.

Unles someone has a different experience.
