EVOMS clubsport intercoolers vs 997.2 for 600whp
SubscribeI picked up alot when I went from 2.75" to 3" exhaust and from 997.2 to Forge Intercoolers. Everything else held constant. Spool up and top end. I run Meth too so I dont care about IATs. Flow, spool and power is what matters to me as my IATs are under control

Interesting....so you HAD the 997.2 ics, and went to Forge IC's. You also went fro a 2.75 to a 3 inch exhaust. You picked up more than 63 whp.
I only picked up around 23 hp when I went from my 2.7 inch Europipe loud ( they are metric....I think the EP is something like 2.73) EP to the 3 inch BBI I now have (although car spools much sooner). That extrapolates to a 40 whp gain by replacing the 997.2 ICs with AM ICs.

I'm no dyno expert, but that first dyno looks like a horrible tune. Was the tune changed with the exhaust/IC? Also looks like it was spooling significantly faster unless I missed something.
Ul have to ask jitsu. He is after all the self proclaimed Peyton Manning of Porsche "what works" knowledge.

The only reason I don't go out for the night action at the Supra Nats anymore is simply that at 780-790 rwhp I just can't hang w/ the 1400 hp Lambos and 1250 hp GTRs.
I think if I had one of those cars that yes, I could hang w/ the big dogs. I am certainly not the best, but I am certainly better than any of the guys posting on this thread.

its hard to allocate the power - it maybe a good combination of both. i had knee surgery so i really didnt care to go back to the dyno twice. i did a new exhaust and ICs and went to see the difference. 2 days after the first dyno i ran 10s on the 630whp power level at 136mph. i have not been back to track after second dyno because of my knee and my car also popped one of the infamous coolant fittings.Originally Posted by Dr_jitsu

tune remained unchanged as i stated in my first post. that is why i lost a bit on peak torque, once we retune it will make even more power on this combo.
