Great day at the track yesterday, The Z06 wasn't quite ready ready so I took the TT just for some fun, At the end of the day got to do a session with just these four cars. Millers west track just to ourselves

I notice you have the front LED DRLs, would you mind sharing what mfg they are and how you got them installed? I have been contemplating doing this for a while now. Are they the philips ones?

They are cheap ones from Ebay but they fit the curve of the grill really well.
they are wired with the ignition so they come on with the key, 3m taped to the grill. You know there was a Mclaren MP4-12C in that photo too

Pssh McLaren. Nice car, but I'm slightly ambivalent about it in both looks, and how it is has no soul or passion, but then again it's not Italian. Must still be a blast to drive fast though. Do you happen to remember any more specifics about the ebay LEDs? I searched before, but there are literally thousands of options. Thanks for the help.

Yeah that sounds just like a line from Top Gear. Oh wait Jeremy used those exact words.

Comparing a 911 Turbo to the photo copier McLaren is like parking a corrola next to a 911.

Shoot I would take that photo copier over the Carrera GT

I'm with the Clarkson camp. If I was given one I wouldn't say no lol, but if it were my money, I would buy something else.

Yeah there are a few lambos I would rather have, hmmm maybe a apollo, or even a Bugatti. Lets face it the aventador looks like sex on wheels.... But the MP4-12C is still a kick *** car.

I know I'd much rather drive the McLaren everyday than a 996TT.

Yes the west track is super fun, hopefully Wednesday my z06 track car is tuned and I can get in on a private day thats happening it will just be 5 cars all day long and open track, no sessions. A great day to shake the new build down and get a feel for the suspension, motor and trans. which days do you come down for? I instruct for Lapping Days and PCA, say hello
