I'm looking to replace my early 2001 front bumper which has the ugly bumperettes. I was hoping to put a GT2 replica bumper on. Has anyone done this before with a GT2 upgrade and did the hardware from the bumperettes cause any problems?

The bumperettes are attached to the bumper and grills so they wouldn't make things any different upgrading to a gt2 bumper than somebody without the bumperettes.
