What is your ride height front / rear
Shouldn't the front be lower than the rear?
that's why I'm asking lol, even though the factory suspension cars I've seen were all a bit lower in the rear (didn't measure, just looked that way). Although, technically speaking, it's just the fender height, not the frame height etc, so the car might actually be level, with just the fender itself being lower since the rear wheels don't need to turn.
I used to have a VW CC, came lower in the rear than the front by a good margin. Bought coilovers & fixed that, but it was just the fenders that were different heights in the sheetmetal
stock vs coilovers.

The car behind with the coil overs and the wheel well height exactly the same is actually sitting forward quite a bit, you can even see it in the picture that the car is not level. Measure the rocker to the ground on the coilover car, the rear is likely 1" higher or so.
That's because the wheel well height in the front is higher than the rear, remember the wheels turn out and the car bounces so it needs more clearance. Also think snow covered wheels for cold places...

Stock fender height is lower in the rear on a stock 996 turbo, correct? (see post #15). So, basically to keep the car factory 'level' (without regard to corner balancing) the fenders should be slightly lower in the rear
I just took some better measurements and the front is actually higher than the rear, I have H&R springs with oem shocks, final #s are 25 5/16" F and 25 3/16" rear, a difference of 2/16s total.
My suspension is stock and I'm 26" all around... Looks more like .75 on those H&Rs...
I'm at 26" front and rear, on 315/30-18 and 265/35-18. Corner balanced, on the upper range of GT2 ride heights.
(BTW, Porsche specs ride height from the floor to specific chassis points, not fender arches.)

any trouble being that low on the track? do you have spacers on it? Perfect stance... now if only it were easy to drive it that low lol
No rubbing issues at this height and it tracks fantastically. Looking forward to March30th event at Laguna with their 105db restriction and my new alignment and brakes.
When I use the turbo twists I have something like 8mm and 16mm front/back. With the GT2 wheels I just use the ~8mm in back. Fills up the wells nicely.

did you buy the springs new or used?
Ok, everyone with the rears set at 24.75", how much travel do you have before you are hitting the bump stops?
I rolled my fenders without the shock hooked up until the tire cleared the fender lip. I installed the shock/rim/tires and lowered it until it bottomed out.(block of wood under tire and lowered car to the ground until it was stuffed into the wheel well)
I was on the bump stops in roughly 1/2"!!! The car does feel like it bounces will driving. I have a JIC suspension on the car. How low it too low and does anyone else have this issue?
My ride heights(to center of arch to the ground is,
Front- 25"driverside, 25 1/8"passsenger side
Rear - 24 13/16" driver side, 24 3/4" passenger side
