Help with Offset for 19inch wheels
There are at least 3 or 4 options for 315-25 with PS2 the most commonly used.
As Woodster said.....spacers should not be in your 'Plan'. IMHO lots of people get this upside down. Ideally you pick the tire or tires you'd like to run....then see what wheels 'can be made' to fit them. You buy wheels once....rubber many times.
If you know where you want the wheel to sit relative to your wheel arch and fender line.....then offset follows. Your suspension tuning determines how close your tolerance is to the fender.

You are pushing it......i.e. depending on a couple other variables you may or may not be alright.
What's your suspension?....if you've firmed it up significantly you have less travel of that wheel in the wheel arch and that buys you a few mm.
Your present height....1" (25.4mm) drop?.....not sure where you are measuring that and if you mean 1" all around (OE Turbos were high in front....ROW, GT3 & 2 all dropped front). Anyway, probably safe to say we've seen lower Turbos but much lower and the suspension I mentioned is then more important. Do you know what your height specs are from the traditional measure points?
35mm in the back is out there. If you are lower than the "1 inch" tells us and suspension is not tuned tight....you are looking at some fender preparation in the rear....maybe front.
Strictly from a cosmetic point.....IMHO 35mm in the rear (with 315x25) would be a tad out further (relative to fender line) than I'd prefer but I know it's been done. BTW....I have nothing against fender prep to buy 3-4mm...if done properly.

The best method that I have always used when attacking a new car is......find pictures of the car that looks close to what you're after.....and I mean ride height and offset. Then in each of those cases, drill down and find out from that user those two pieces of info plus their suspension. No matter if the data is 18,19,20, 8J, 9J, 12J......all that can be transposed to what it would be on the tire-n-wheel you want to use....and look same in your wheel arch.
Shopping and finding the right wheel is fun.

I'm running 19x8 - 45 Offset and 19x11 36 offset on H&R Lowering springs...no issues (Rubbing) 305/30 in the rear.
The car is low though so be careful over speeed bumps and driveways.

DSCOFF.....if you are really trying to be sure before you pull the trigger, you need to find some good pics of lowered (w/H&R Springs) cars running with 19s.....and find out what their offset and tires are. Plenty of people out there w/H&R springs.....I'd assume most were installed the same (w/H&Rs instructs).
Full discloser....I'm not a fan of 'just springs' mod on a car like the Turbo......but as said, pretty common. So.....you probably have a slightly firmer ride, with limited travel left in the shocks/struts.....but not what I would call a 'tight' suspension (good coil-overs, adjustable sway, more).
I'm doubtful this will help, but I share anyway......here is a car with a very tight suspension, 235s in the front, 315s in the rear (8 1/2J, 11J....42mm/30mm offset) and her front/rear height is 108/120mm which is effectively lower than OE by 50/38mm (which is in the GT3 range).....you can do the inch conversion.

After picking up the wheels I found out that Techarts offsets are measured slightly differently and differently again depending on year of manufacture and from which factory they were made.
The second thing I found out after the fact was the severe lack of tire sizes in 315/25.
I know the debate is out there of other sizes that can be matched but I don't want to risk it.
I am now installing KW V1 and with a little fender rolling and the right camber they should fit and look good.
Bottom line...wish I did more homework and ask more questions before I made the impulse buy on a set of wheels.

I would like to post a comment but to do so in a meaniingful manner I would like to know how to measure ride height, or how much my car is lowered. What is the best way to do do so?
