Please help

I have a 996 TT. I bought it without knowing or realizing something.
On the instrument cluster you have a Zilver aliminium ring around every gauge. On the extreme right (My car is Right Hand Drive) is the Oil pressure.
The gauge is a kalf circle ... (like all other 911 and others).
The silver ring around the edge is missing and the aonly Porsche dealer in the country (South Africa) tells me that I need to replace the whole instrument cluster in order to get that new silver ring around the instrument. I don't know how else to call it but a silver ring. I can take a picture and post it here to show what I mean.
My dealer tells me it will cost at least $ 2 700 US to replace the whole cluster.

Can anybody please help by directing me to the right people where I can get one.

Thanks in advance.
Lukas

Many thanks for the reply. Actually it is not one piece. The Rev Counter, Speedo and "Water Temperature and and if Auto, the Auto info" is one piece of silver ring around them all. The two half moon or alf sircles on the edges of the cluster are loose seperate silver rings... Any idea where I would be able to get them or at least one half circle silver ring?

Luke, Try searching online. I don't know if they still make those aluminum rings that go over the gauges, but I found these 3 site that might carry them.
