Big Florida Porsche Weekend Oct 31-Nov2

GrandAmerican Champions Weekend at Daytona International Speedway Sat,Nov,1-Sun,Nov,2nd Sponsered By Brumos Porsche of Jacksonville,Fl .....Heres the link

http://www.daytonainternationalspeedway.com/

Alot of the Porsche faithful who were at the concours in WPK were talking about this. Big Porsche area for us etc... Most want to caravan to it from O-town together... Anyone interested, lets coordinate as it should be some fun! Also, I will say that basically everyone I spoke with had little to no knowledge of these sites (6speed/Rennlist). In other words, we are the minority!
Other Up comming "BIG" events;
Amelia Island Concours D'Elagance Feb/March??2004
Mt Dora Exotic Car Festival April 2004??
Porsche Rennsport Reunion (Daytona Speedway/Huge) April 23rd
I'll fine tune this more later
All the best

Ten Daytona Prototypes Coming To Daytona. The Daytona Prototype concept was first introduced at Daytona International Speedway in January 2002. Just over a year later, six of the new cars took to Daytona's 3.56-mile road course for their racing debut in the Rolex 24 At Daytona.

Now, the first season of Daytona Prototype racing will draw to a close at Daytona International Speedway with a record number of entries on tap for the Grand American Champions Weekend presented by Brumos Porsche, October 31 - November 2. Ten Daytona Prototypes are entered in the Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series finale, which will serve as the debut race for new entries from Essex Racing, SpeedSource and PAP Parts.

And do not forget some of the other big Porsche events in Florida. The 24 hours of Daytona (early Feb.), 12hrs of Sebring (3/20/04). Both events have Porsche parking corals. There is also the PCA club race at Sebring in February or March.
