Thanks Neil yes it is a wrap from the dealer. The car is white with some carbon fiber bits.
After driving it like this for a while the dealer will remove the wrap & I will have a white R8.

The GT2 is a 6 speed with a 997 SSk which in my opinion is great so there is not much comparison with the trans. Depends if you are in traffic or a mountain road. The R tronic seems like it will take a little getting use too but I feel for a daily driver it is the way to go.
The sound no comparison Audi V10 is glorious the GT2 not bad with a Switzer exhaust.
The power in the Audi is smooth & linear the GT2 tends to be more violent. Keep in mind the GT2 has over 700hp to the wheels.
I will try and add more as I spend more time behind the wheel.

So far the Audi has a very tight feel to the steering which i like. The R tronic is a funny shifting trans,it feels as if the car is manually shifting it self with a slight hesitation at low speeds. It seems to become more agile as the speed increases.

But seriously, congrats on the R8....if you are really brave, bring it to River Oaks for a free smoothie spiked with 1, 3 Dimethylamyline.
