My name is John also and got really carried away. Bought the '04 Turbo Cab in '08. Plan was only to upgrade wheels. When CPO ran out in 2010 I also planned muffler sway. That lead to headers, cats, diverters along with the new muffler. That lead to upgrading the chip and the transmission programming along with a new MAF.

That wasn't enough, I went on to lower the car with Ruf springs. That lasted a year and I went to PSS 10's. Brakes are good but changing to the GT2 kit was even better. Well, having a Tip I wanted paddle shifting. Email to Belgium and have a carbon fibre/leather paddle shifter. Then I decided on Recaro Sport seats. I keep telling myself enough is enough but I doubt it.

John in Vancouver

ps Wife keeps wondering why my car needs to go in for so many services and safety inspections. Each one taking a couple of days!

Build the motor and go nuts, be the best mod-o-holic you can be.

PS. I have seen bent rods in motors making less then 700whp.
