Newbie + 996 GT3 clutch onto a 996 Turbo question?

Don't think you're going in the right direction... a GT2 clutch yes, a GT3 clutch, no... The turbo makes way more torque than the GT3, the GT3 is a high revver low torque. And make sure and use the rear main seal from the Turbo and not the GT3, the Turbo units are better and the GT3 units are prone to leaking. Hey GT3 guys, if your RMS is leaking, switch to the Turbo unit...Porsche wont approve the fix but it works.

understood the feedback thanks,but from the research i've done, it appears that the GT3 Mk1 clutch/flywheel is the same as used in the Turbo so in a sense i'm replacing like for like,i'll have the parts tomorrow hopefully and also take off the one fitted at the moment soon,and then compare, if needed i'll jsut buy new parts but going down this route, it's very cost efficient and i've already got my eye on something else so not sure how long i'll be keeping the Turbo.. Missing my GTR's
