Mechanics Gloves?
When I work on the car I always end up filthy
Does anybody use mechanics gloves, and if so, would you recommend them I'm not keen on gloves, and like to feel what's going on, but I'm not sure I can take much more hand scrubbing |

The black thicker nitrile gloves from harbor freight..they work well, as was said the thin ones I like better but they do rip easy. So for me its usually none and scrub the hands..lol

Depends what I am working ON. Big stuff, suspension, disassembly- gloves. Finer stuff, clean parts- skin.
Usually cheap, stretch Mechanix at HomeDepot. |
Latex gloves from the pharmacy?
|
I've been a mechanic for the last 10 years and have tried everything to keep my hands clean. My glove of choice the the microflex safegrip latex gloves. They are very thick compared to most gloves and a pair can usually last me a full work day unless it's gets snagged on a sharp edge.

+1 for latex!
