it seems kinesis are not immune. pictured is a kinesis wheel.

damn. one of many occurances. and people thought i was dick riding I-forged, at least they don't have wheels cracking.

hmmmm..... this thread is going to get hot. The picture does not show any damage done to the lip to indicate an impact from the side. It just looks like the wheel failed. A lot of 6speeders have this brand of wheels. If I had them on my car,even not tracking, I would want to find out more info about the cause of the failures.

Wheels America will fix that for $99.

Make me feel better , I did the right choice , ( never bought or never will buy HRE ....hahaha )

I don't think this should come as any surprise. This is why many have always said to keep your factory wheels for track use. I run HRE's and would switch them out if I ever decided to track the car.

I would be surprised if anyone thought that HRE's are for anything more than visual improvement.

You know, for the price those guys charge for their wheels, this kinda crap should NOT happen.

I have owned several sets of HRE's...

I will never own another set... but for other reasons than the issue this post is referring to. :mad:

This is my wheel. My response is on Rennlist if you want to read it or the facts. I'm alive and I'm not hurt. I was very, very lucky.

Isn't that a Kinesis wheel though? I'll continue to buy HRE's as long as they are available.
