Header wrap the exhaust.....

I spent 10 minutes removing my Switzer muffler with a plan to wrap it in header wrap. Since picking up my car I have already wrapped my fuel filter and aux fuel pump in a starter heat blanket. In hopes of keeping engine bay heat down as much as possible I have started the wrapping process on the mufler. Does anyone see an issue with this? With the whole exhaust sitting right under the motor I cant see it hurting.

Finished. While I was at it I removed the black ceramic coating on the inside of the exhaust tips and the very outside edge. I like the new look and the exhaust sounds just a tad less "tinny".

I do a lot of heat wrap on projects at my shop. It certainly helps out but I prefer ceramic coating as a small oil leak on that stuff can turn into chaos very quickly.
