Hi,
I switched on the dyno my stock y-pipe to a Proto one, but still stock TB, gain was 15 hp after 4 shoots, perhap's more now, because the ECU needs to adapt.
(little hi-jacking: my Pcar is a 997TT)

KF24 all he did was modified the stock y-pipes trunk by putting a new tapered section to match up to the larger TB .
I think now that I should have got a complete fabbed one to match my larger AWE hoses also.

Going to dyno tomorrow,Wednesday, to do the swap instead of Thursday .
Had to beg them to change because the weather looks worse for Thursday even though its not ideal conditions for dyno tomorrow either..

From the info I gathered( I have one on my car also) is that they make a difference on High HP cars.... with that said, I would love to see it on a flashed car only.... just a thought...

dyno testing postponed
Just wanted to let everyone know John's scheduled dyno testing tomorrow has been postponed due to no fault of his own. We at the Porsche Exchange are in the middle of our racing season, we run track support for six GT3RS's and we have the dyno filled with their misc. parts. We will try to get him in early next week and he will post the results.

Baseline on this 2 wheel Dyno Jet with 88 degree temps and 35% humidity is 586HP and 595TQ.
