BNG4GOD, sorry for the OT and no hard feelings here. Instead of just buying something because "x" vender says it works, I like to try things myself. I am fortunate enough were I can make a lot of things and it is just my own time and a little $ for material so, it is easy.

I am sure the exhaust venders here make a great product and this was not a slam on anyone nor the "x" design. I'm just new to the tt world and trying to learn myself.
Ok, I will go with purely "Evil" then. Glad to see one more guy digging in. This is how we as a forum advance our platform. Look forward to your progress.

Thats why these threads are great. I'm not anti anything, just trying to get people to think outside the box. I can't believe nobody has ever tested back pressures here. I realize there is a balance between sound and performance and you might not be able to get both but, getting performance is easy.

I come from a stand alone ecu backround so, this damn computer is gonna slow my roll but, i'll try to keep up with you. Probably gonna try to max out these smaller turbos and then drop/rebuild the engine for power.

Has anyone cut open a OEM muffler? How are the pipes configured inside?

Damn it, I always forget to search! Ok, found a picture. Pretty strange design, those Germans are very clever.

Ok, I have enough info.. I will start messing around soon.. I'm off to see if I can change my coil packs and plugs in under a hour(highly unlikely).

Save yourself some time and do the plugs and coils when you drop the exhaust. Much easier with that out of the way. If I may, put a V-band right by the turbo so its a easy drop of the exhaust.

Oh, for sure. I will v-band the whole setup. New turbos will have a TiAl ss hotside and i'm probably gonna delete the cats. I have to check my local inspection regs. I think i'm ok to delete them.

I also think i'm going to change all the damn torx screws out to dzus fastners. They work good on the Ducati so, we'll see.

Hmm, I've seen better welds on the hull of the Titanic.. just kidding, looks good. Nothing like heavy gauge 304 to lay nice welds. Why not lighter weight 321?

Did you make those flanges? I'm gonna have to get some made on the waterjet unless you know where I can pick some up?

LOL, I got lazy and turned down the gas so I would not kill the bottle on those few welds. I got those flanges from a member here the got them from Fabspeed.
