New Look for my 996

I had the car wrapped this past week, and I had to share the outcome!

Nice. I like it. Nice headlights, too. What was the process/price for having those tinted yellow?

The guy who wrapped the car did the headlights for free. I know he just ordered yellow tint and cut it to fit the car. I think you can order precut tint that fits our cars online though.

You can just order different colors from Lamin-X for the headlights. Pretty easy to apply and great protection. I have the clear ones on two of my cars; I'll probably do it on the 996 as well.

That's a great idea! I should have done that a long time ago!

The color is matte black but it looks more grey with gloss black accents against it.

Thanks everyone!

I have a question: was the rear spoiler wrapped as well? If so, how do you get around all the curves?

The rear spoiler is wrapped. They use a combination of heating the material and stretching it around the corners and cutting it in the right places. These guys have more patience than I will ever be able to have.

Man the wrap looks cool! It's kind of like Slate Grey but in matte I definitely like!

Looks great. I hope it holds up in the summer heat. That is one of my fears about the wraps.

Thankfully it never gets too hot here. But I worry about it too.
