I have the same lens but paired with a Nikon D200. A great multi-purpose lens.

Nice shots! Takes a good eye and skill to keep the chase car out of the reflections!

Thanks for the kind words guys! Sambo yeah man still have my sl55 Amg beast, she is for sale such an awesome car just no garage space (live in the city we have tandem enclosed private garages) with my Aston Martin DB9, besides both of which are big engine GT cruisers... If any of you know anyone interested (I have an ad here and on globalautosports) I can send the link, many pics, dyno sheets, and videos!

The GT2 does look like liquid mercury, in those pics she is not even really clean, we had just done 2 cruises, a cars and coffee, and an open house. Truth is Chris is a really talented photographer, he just knows what to do to pull of great shots each time, even with average equipment or non ideal conditions. We are very fortunate to have him here in our area and part of the car enthusiast community.

Finding the sweet spot definitely takes practice. The general rule of thumb is that you use the shutter speed 1/(speed of vehicle) so if you're going 60mph, use 1/60 sec shutter speed. If you're going 100, do 1/100 sec.

I was riding in my M3 which has coilovers and low profile tires so it's not the smoothest of rides So some of the pics aren't as sharp as I would have liked, but oh well.

Sunir drives like a grandpa, unfortunately. His cars only get opened up when he lets me drive them
