Can anyone please tell me the proper part number for the Mass Air Flow sensor for a 2002 996 Turbo?

Suncoast wants to charge me over $600, but they didn't give me the part number and it's not listed on their website. I'd to see if I can find a cheaper one from Pelican or elsewhere, but I need to have the part number.

I searched the forum but there seems to be some confusion between the part number for the Boxters and 996s.

i have: 99660612400 AM. it's a 986/996 part. there isn't any confusion. you can get them as i do from a reputable ebay seller that presumably rebuilds them using a new diode ( the important bit ) for $47.00 US. shipped.

it works as well as they can. don't pay $600.00 for a new OEM MAF to be replaced.

 

That's the part number at Pelican for $261. Better, but not $44.

that's been my thinking. they look the same, fit the same, and seem to work as well as the new oem. for a fraction of the price of oem.

i think of it as a recycled compatible toner cartridge... for my car.
