MANA is infamous around these parts
I sure hope these new pads work. The dealer just called and said to retrofit to PCCBs would cost about .... 30k

You can get for much less if you do your homework. I got a complete new set of PCCB1 (4 discs, callipers, pads, sensor wires, shims and hubs) for €6500. I think that was the last set though. There may be PCCB2's available.

I think someone on Rennlist posted that Porsche is having a sale on the PCCB kit right now...I think it's like $8K - not installed. You might want to check it out, or maybe someone here knows.

$30,000? That must be a mistake. Hey I'm willing to let my PCCB II generation go for $20,000 if that's the case.

Brembo titanium GTR with ceramic pads is the only way to go. Roger from Orbit says these are the best breaks he has ever seen. These are installed on my car and i love them, they squeal a little bit, not to much, but they break awsome.

Evo sent me some new pads with anti squeal shims and I had them installed last Saturday. I cruised around for awhile afterwords and they seem to have done the trick. No undue noise whatsoever. Thanks to EVO for the fix.

GTR kit is awesome, but the balance is hard to find. the tires simply can't match with the brake unless u're running 18'' tire like MPSC or Corsa. plus they cry like a ***** that triggers the ***** inside to cry as well.

for perfect street set up i much prefer the 15'' 4 piston front with 14'' 4 piston rear. 15'' 8 piston is out of the question since it's heavier & feel softer. Joe will have his done in about a week i'll let him tell the difference.

I'm still in love with my PCCBs on the S. After about 1500 miles I haven't noticed a difference in performance or noise at all. I am having squeling issues with the Brembos on the XJR but that's a different story for a different forum.
