Do you mean

Clutch in > Out of gear > Clutch out > Rev > Clutch in > Select gear > Clutch out

Unless your driving a truck (or having major clutch problems and trying to get the car in gear to drive home ) I wouldn't even think to bother doing this in a road car.

I am talking about the triple clutch. I got into a 540 the other day and executed a perfect triple clutch. I couldn't find the damn pedal. It's what happens after driving stick for long periods of time. Your left foot automatically looks for the clutch. You get in and it starts bouncing off the brake in disbelief. Some refer to it as Podiatric Port Hydraulic Syndrome (PPHS).
