+3 for a good PPI. Check for second gear pop out like was already mentioned. The Carfax didn't show any damage but the inspection can confirm this. IMO that's a very good price and a great price for Cali. A little prudence now can save you a lot later.

I just picked up my tt cab. A good ppi from a recommended shop is definitely worth the money.

 

6 owners is a lot and does raise some flags, but if the PPI checks out ok then I wouldn't necessarily worry about it. In a Toyota or Chevy the 6 owners would be a big red flag, but in a high end luxury car, especially in a bad economy, it could simply be people bought a vehicle they couldn't afford or it could be as simple as people buying it that just don't keep their cars very long.

 

The guy that own it now is a 'DOCTOR' lol

 

If it is in autotrader for a low price, there are issues with it.
