Well, I still want to know how he got to that speed. What mods?Originally Posted by Basic

Have you taken it to the drag strip yet? What are the details of your motor build?

This car is one of the smoothest most dialed cars I have driven in a while. Thanks to Joey at B/B/I for the suspension set up and decent alignment the car now handles like a high speed bullit train.

No it won't. According to your calculator you have 7k redline with a 295/30/19 tire which has a diameter of 26 inches. At 7k rpm, with this tire you get max speed of 210 mph. Also, unless my info is wrong, and it may be, your final two gears are off. My understanding is 5th is 0.92 and 6th is 0.75 not the 0.679 you list. If you do the numbers correctly then the top speed at 7k rpm is 210. To get to your speed, you need almost 7500 rpm max. if your redline is 7k, you never made it to 223mph. But if your redline is 7500, then I can see that. Hence why none of this really counts unless it is officially times some way vbox, etc. And hence why I asked.
GPS is good enough for me. Outstanding - well done. You have a great car with nothing to prove to anyone.
"none of this really counts..." Who are you - the speed sanctioning authority?

Not disputing it at all. But when you reach speeds like that I like knowing what was done to the cars to get there. For example all the Texas mile cars that got there have built engines with redlines close to 8k. I am more interested in things that were done to gearing to get there, hence why I ask.

Sorry, I misunderstood. So your 6th is 0.679 gear ratio. You must be pushing a lot of power with that kind of over drive. What IC's do u have? And to bad u didnt datalog to see AIT's. That would have been interesting info.
