20" or 18"

i drive my friend 996tt yesterday,she with 20" wheel, for me its feel rough and bit difficult to handling for the bad road in bangkok thailand .
except the look,is 18" wheel handling better or any better in anyway? its softer ,for sure,right? previously thanks for every opinion and help

20"=show 18"=go.

IMO 20" is a little to big for the 996. 19" is the largest I would go.

If the car has hugh power then the 18" is the way to go. Plus you have a lot better tire selection with the 18" tires.
