thats crazy, but that is why I would actually prefer to find a car that has some good quality track mods on it, since you really get them at a discount, especially considering how much labor can cost on installing some of these parts...

thats why i suggested v4rhenrys car. fully sorted out for the track well taken care of . i would have bought his car in a minute especially being white but had to sell my slk32 first. i found a turbo at a dealer and traded instead of selling outright. if you have cash to work with a private sale i would check his car out.

theres also a 1000 hp car for sale in the classifieds that is a well known forum member but the price equals the power and im not sure if thats a road course car or drag car

And agree - buy something that is already setup / fraction of the costs
The first splitter i prototyped, it didn't have that many mounting points. It flexed to much at about 150 that it scrapped the ground at the tip of the splitter.

Then I added more places to hold it at the track, with zip ties to hold it in place, it worked better, but still flexed under breaking it would scrape at the tip.

Then I drilled a few holes and zip tied it around the aero lip, and that problem went away.

Here is a video at 160+ showing after the track day.

The production one, like you have, we water jet the holes in the proper places etc. the production run i made, should be pretty damn good. I have taken it up to about 185mph, no issues.

In that video, you can see the front end flexing down the faster i go aka a good sign! This video is the prototype, which is a bit shorter in length then the production.

I should take video of the production splitter to see how much it flexes the front

Here is the final version installed on my car:

Geez guys thanks for all the help advertising!!

I would look at Enrique's car in person first for sure if you haven't experienced a modded 996TT. Miner's rather far away, but if you want white or bigger turbos it's certainly an option.

I'm trying to set up a date for him to see the light and realize your car is a bargain - properly setup. Only thing is, mine dosen't have the power yours has

For the record, I think the price you are selling yours, he will see it is a great deal. Mods+installation/car/miles.

I too am looking for a 996 Turbo and I'm an ex-CTSC NSX owner as well, still have my Zanardi as that car I will never sell.

Good luck on your search, I actually find it kinda fun.

Its my nightly routine.

A. Grab alcoholic beverage, iPad and settle into my reading chair.
B. Turn on TV
C. Search rennlist, 6speed, Autotrader, Ebay and Cars.com

The hunt is the best part but I'm VERY PICKY! Ive probably looked at 10 cars so far.
