After Market Wheel Locks Cause Balance Problem

So I got some new rims and tires for my 01 Turbo. To complement the new rims I ordered some quality chrome lug bolts that came with wheel locks. Installed them and took the car for a drive. I was shocked to find that I had severe vibration at highway speed. I thought I had thrown a wheel weight and was all ready to take the car in for another balance when I thought about the wheel locks. Took the wheel locks off and swapped lug bolts around and voila, no more vibration. The minor difference in weight between the lock bolts and regular lug bolts was enough to throw the wheel balance completely off. Never would have believed this if I hadn't experienced it myself.
