do all turbo cars have just the telescopic wheel? no tilt?

im wondering because the only one I have driven did not have a tilt, but im 6'5, so i need all the room i can get

I'm not 100% sure, but I think all 996s have a telescoping but not tilting wheel. Not even an option. I'm short and the bottom of the wheel still hits my legs since I raise the seat.

That was one of my first observations when I first got the car. Little clearance under the steering wheel. Once in the car, seating position is perfect though.

Yes all 996 have telescopic only wheels (no tilt). Thankfully Porsche has fitted the wheel in a very good position in terms of the angle!

Are you sure? I would swear that steering wheel on my turbo had tilt.

I'm quite positive on the US models they don't have it, and I didn't think they did in Europe either. Are you sure your wheel was OEM?

I'm sure the wheel was OEM. I may be wrong about tilt. I'll check on Monday when I'm visiting my dealer.

I'm 5'9" and my frend is 6'7" and I was 100% sure that we kept tilting the wheel all the time :|
