well, im part of the family now :-)
You don't know until you have the real numbers . That will tell you HOW the engine makes the power. It could be as simple as your gauge is wrong in inaccurate. It also could be a nice ECU tune. Before you make changes to anything , get the base line ie find out what you've got. You can buy the tool for a few hundred dollars. Get one specifically for the Porsche. It's software but they ship you a specific custom made cable. It will be worth it!!
well, it def does feel like alot of power. Not to keep compairing, but my vette is about 3000lbs, and makes 500/500 at the wheels and this car feels faster. So I doubt the gauge is off. When you say they can ship you the software and cable, who is the "they"?
Do a search ... there are many tuners that can do this for you... here is one link... use this format . http://www.softronictuning.com/catal...aui3k4am52jnt6
EPL, 911tuning, UMW...all can email you the link to there ftp server and you can upload the new flash via a cable the tuner will supply you.
I have that cable (got it with my EPL flash) but hows that going to do him any good? He needs a durametric...which I haven't gotten around to buying.
Can't check/log anything with the cable you get with the tunes, at least not that I know of.

With my Protomotive tune and their cable you can.
What software are you using? I guess I've never tried, just assumed I couldn't. Or are you just using the program Protomotive provided?
1.1 bar is an awful lot of boost for just a tune and stock exhaust isn't it? Not in a bad way - just always hear of most tunes being .9-1.0 bar? I've got a tune and headers and a stock exhaust and i'm still only at .9bar max.
Do the new EPL/Softronic tunes up the boost even further?

After Protomotive tuned my car, he had me do a data log to make sure it was at its best.
