Shift K-N-O-B-S!
No airshifter. The SQS new from the manufacturer, installed, is in the neighborhood of $10K. It is not a do it yourself, and is one to two days in the shop. Most people buy them slightly used for half that. I got a great deal on mine from the same good friend I bought the car from. He installed it for the Targa Newfoundland race, and then removed it to sell the car, so it only ever saw a few days of use. I bought it at a steal, and had Piper Motorsport re-installed it.
HIX, I have one sitting in the garage waiting to be installed.
However, I'm assuming the one you have is for the 997.
If so, did you utilize just the **** or did you somehow fabricate the boot to fit the 996? If you used the boot would like to know how you made it fit.
Thanks!

I actually love the look of the Alcantara shift **** and boot with the decorative stitching in ether red or blue. For more information Click Here.
