I agree with you. I find it odd that this 17 yr old boy comes to 6speedonline (a board known for the 996TT), perhaps claims to be a Porsche enthusiast(we gladly welcome enthusiasts and non-Porsche owners), yet doesn't like the exhaust note of a Carrera GT?

Odd.

Us M3 owners call that "The Rasp" and it sounds like total crap! hahahaaha

It could be the worst sounding stock exhaust ever!

That would be the icing on the cake, I do believe.

The Enzo has the most killer factory sound I have heard. For a TT, the cargraphic exhaust sounds nice and deep. I would like to see what the sound at 3500 is like with the cargraphic though. Could be brutal.

Come to think of it,
I've never heard an Enzo run, up close.
I'm sure it sounds pretty mean though.

I like the way that a TT sounds. Not beautiful, I grant you but it's meaty and growly and that appeals to me. My turbo S sounds much louder than my old '03 and, so far, I like it as it is. Ofcourse my dealer is not "mod-friendly" in the least, so I haven't got any options anyway.

I think the 360 CS sounds amazing. Even my 360 with a Tubi sounds pretty sweet.

Zonda's sound crazy, Enzos are incredible in real life, the CGT does sound insane.

If you like F1 exhaust, the CGT will tickle your fancy, if you like raw rumbling exhausts then enzo's etc are more for you.

Yep, CGT is nutz. I quite like the NA 996 sound with the PSE.

damn thats harsh, thats like my favorite sound. a mustang, not a gt it has to be a N\A cobra...DOHC sounds different then the gts SOHC. now as for favorite sounding car, when my dad had a 1968 fast back mustang. that sound will never leave my head.

i like the whine of his 996 and i like my cars sound being the air cooled motor but sometimes it seems a tad to eh wimpy

I've never said that I was a Porsche enthusiast. I just like cars in general. And I made it clear from the start (my first post) that "I'm just a kid" with none of the fancy cars most of the people on here have.

Why do you find it so odd that "this 17 yr old boy" is here? I've seen so many nice cars here time and time again - I enjoy the eye candy. I'm not here to tell you about the latest aftermarket turbocharger on the market - I dont' have a clue, and I never claimed to have a clue.

Is it so wrong that I have an opinion of my own that I don't think the CGT exhaust note is the best? I'm not bashing any of you for thinking that it's the best - why are you all bashing me for having never heard one in person? I'd love to be able to hear a CGT revving next to me, but I guess rich people make rich friends. To most CGT owners out there, I'm just a "17 yr old boy" - do you think they'd give a rat's *** if I asked them to rev the engine for me? Is it so odd that I've never even seen a CGT on the street? In fact, the most expensive thing I've ever seen on the street in my area is a Ferrari 360. Sorry I'm not in a wealthy neighbourhood.

whys it matter how old he is?? he could have heard a sound clip and that gives you a general idea of what it sounds like. me im only 18, i love porsche and i love american cars too. i sometimes feel like i dont care for the sound of a porsche too like i dunno it just sounds too tame but then other times i love the sound of it. its all what you liek and what your opinion is.
