My nightmare regarding the rear bumper continues.
I returned the first bumper and I have attached a pic of a friends car with the REAR Turbo LOOK bumper that I just purchased. My car is a Carrera 4 and I really like the air ducts on the turbo and the C4s. However since this is a '02 C4 cab, it is a narrow body. I installed a GT-2 front bumper and don't want the car to be viewed as a Turbo Wanna Be. The rear bumper comes with the vents below the tag.
Should I have the vents filled in or leave as existing???

Are the vents functional? If yes, #1 wouldn't seem to be an option, and you need to consider any consequences of filling them in with anything. If you must do something, I'd go black mesh (how I voted). BTW - although you asked, there is no provision for voting to "leave as existing."

There was not a option of leaving the OEM bumper. I really like the massing on the C4s bumper.
The vents are functional, so they say. You see the rear diamond plate that will be painted black behind the open vents below the tag.
The body shop called this morning and stated that it will be difficult to fill in the vents and they highly recommend leaving the vents. I guess Deputy Dog will have a twin soon.
So are you saying that there isn't an option and the vents should be left open???

Hey Robert, when you came over to Naples for the Ferrari show on 3rd, I was the silver C2 infront of you with the Champions...
Anyway, I think that the black will look really nice...I really like that rear.
Heh, I found a picture of NYSE's car...I think this may be your's juxtaposed...

My initial thought was that silver mesh would look nice with a silver wheel, but then I began thinking that whether or not you have a black or silver wheel on the car, the black will be more suitable and more versatile with different wheel applications. Besides, if you ever decide to go with a black wheel, it would carry over the theme very nicely...
That's just my opinion, though...My honest advice to you is, just do what is going to please you. I'm not the one that is going to be driving it.
Lastly, from the pictures, the car is looking better than ever. Have you ever thought about changing anything on the side vents directly behind the rear wheels...It seems that if you change the rear vents to silver, or which ever desired colour, I think it would look pretty good with the side vents matched. Who knows, though...If you'd like, I can photoshop all the different colour combinations...Just ask if you want me to do so...
