Hand's a good guy and deserves success. I know there's a discrepancy due to factory VS privateer efforts, but that's always been the case historically in racing. Just glad to see a nice regular guy win once in awhile no matter what he's driving or who for. Good job, Joey!

KJ-

Have you chipped that thing yet?

If not, you should bring it by to Ed at Induktion and have him get you set up.
I am waiting on an exhaust to be installed.. I need to do a couple of dynos before and after..then later on the chip (probably GIAC with flash loader). I'll be sure to check up on that shop for a quote.. I think I talked to Ed before.

I might actually do a couple of track days too before the chip...

As somebody who raced few times this year in the Rolex Series with a GT3 CUP I can tell you that those M3s are stupid fast and probably handle gazilion times better than the GT3.
It was so frustrating to see them pull away from me on the banking without even drafting me !

rakjoe - why do you think that is? Why aren't the cup cars more powerful? I'm quite surprised they would handle better as well.

Of course the fact that the Beemers get factory support doesn't hurt but it's not correct to say that the GT3 doesn't get any. There are few teams who do get factory help with better stuff and factory drivers.
My opinion and it's my opinion only that the problem inherited in the rear engine configuration and weight distribution.
Do note that the Rolex GT specs tones down the GT3s a lot, the RSR would probably be as fast around most tracks, In ovals it pushes too much air with it's large facia air intakes and that's where it is in disanvantage.

Well remember for years in ALMS I believe that BMW got killed by Porsche when they were not allowed to use their V8 4.0 flat plane cranks. I mean Porshe dominated evrything. Its good to see this issue come full circle, to bad it's in a different series w/ different players.
