I dont think its a matter that people wont go.. its more of why beat on the cars 2 days in a row....what if soemthing fails at the poconos?
I have a rental already setup for Febuary.. why not do it then.. so people have a few months to get the car back together not rushing and enjoy both days
Or i know there will be another day and Etown in May
My bro will run his P car at the events we go to... it only has the starter kit though

During the week its impossible for us both to get off work.... so if its a weekday, you will only see one of us

I may have a airfield too.. Its only 3800ft though so 1/2 mile? How does that sound? Not sure about side by side action just yet. We will need to get insurance and a hard list of people. No add ons later, Insurance company dont like that.
I've been getting similar results when trying to lock down the one I was looking at... The one I'm looking at is in the neighborhood of 3400 ft, so I was thinking more like how the KOTS side by side is setup. More goes into the planning, insurance, setup, etc than I could have ever imagined though.
That's kinda what I was shooting for, in the KOTS format like I've seen run at the TI type events. Enough room to get up to speed, launch at that speed for the 1500 ft distance and have enough room for a slow down. Trying to figure out a timing setup also, so everyone can gauge their speeds and see what's working or isn't. Going this weekend to check out the surface itself and see how it is. Will have my vette with me on everyday tires, so a few hard launches should do the trick.
