Also, if you calculate injector duty properly with ALL known inputs i don't see more then 87%. Im assuming you are using the ( Injector Pulse Width * RPM ) / 1200 ....which is an estimate at best.

Bo - I received your email.. Ill be responding shortly!
I just quickly took a look... and I made it clear that Im blaming any part... I actually didnt know nor care for the tune, but .73 afrs is as bad as it gets... but Im guessing it has nothing to do with the tune... I know you dont target .73 lol

Thanks Mark!

Here is your timing vs an old log I have. I was running a little more boost on a hotter day but is an example of the trend you would see if you are octane limited and added race gas. Mine isn't perfect by any means but decent and on the conservstive side. A few bobbles in there but the swings aren't as drastic.

Another can o' worms to consider: Last time I checked, Tony is a big fan of water/meth injection with good failsafes like the Aquamist HFS-3 and HFS-6 systems. This would improve both knock resistance and IATs if 24/7 race gas isn't a viable option. Thread for more info: https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...-complete.html

Thanks a lot for the comparison Earl! I went by that Sunco dealer today, and no luck. They only had leaded! I'll check some more.

OK, getting ready to add some 100 to a relatively empty fuel tank and run new logs. Just one question/concern: Are there any issues with running 99-100 octane on a flash programmed for 91?

If you have not done anything with your car since the original logs then some 100 octane would be good to help see what your system is wanting.

So in short.

NO!!!! 100 pump is in no way going to hurt anything.

100 Octane Logs

OK guys - here are 4th and 3rd gear pulls with 100 pure octane (99 at worst since I ran it almost dry). Looks like my lambdas came up a bit, so, judging from previous posts by the experts, that is a good thing. Tony, I would love to hear from you too, as I got no email from you as promised.

looks like a lot of data for a single pull. you might try breaking it into 2 separate pulls and split the data for faster refresh rate

Please flash and relog on 91... I will gladly take a look. As for these logs, they look very good. IAT creeps away on the 4th gear pull, Im assuming stock IC's?
Yes, Tony, stock IC's. GT2RS's on the shelf ready to be installed, but wanted to get the car healthy first. I checked my archives and definitely never received anything. I will send you an email to make sure you have my correct address.
