Only 2 Rooms Left to Tail of the Dragon & Nov. 5 Deadline!!!
Only 2 of our 21 Rooms are Left!! If you want to go, act quickly!!
I am posting this as a separate thread since sometimes people either gloss over the sticky threads or don't check them often.
I constantly update the Tail of the Dragon sticky thread Post #1 so, again, I encourage you guys to check back often for updates. I also just added a similar post at the end of the sticky thread. Go read....
We are quickly approaching the deadline for the hotel room reservations. The hotel has only agreed to hold our two floors of rooms until November 5. After that, if you haven't signed up, you are on your own. I encourage any fence sitters to fall off towards the infield so you are part of it rather than on the outside looking in!!!
Since we will be on a tight schedule with our programmed activities, being in the Haywood Park Hotel rather than some other hotel, because you didn't act quickly enough, will make it much easier to stay involved. Make the call, reserve the room!!!!
Oh yeah, one more thing. What is up with you mid-westerners? There are plenty of you out there and you know who you are. Hook up with BuddyG and caravan it down to Asheville!! Don't make him drive by himself. This is going to be one fun time!!
The tentative plans are for the NJ/NY/PA caravan to meet up with the Midwest caravan (BuddyG and his group) somewhere in the vicinity of I-81 and I-77 and then follow the Blue Ridge Parkway into Asheville. Think about it, 10 to 15 Porsche turbos following the beautiful sweeping curves of the BRP at dawn. Incidentally, the road photos in the official post are of the BRP.
I am personally going to try gassing up on 100 octane for the trip.
